Social Media Marketing
I develop social strategies built around your actual business goals, not vanity metrics.
Do you manage social media accounts day-to-day?
I focus on strategy, content planning, campaign development, and creative direction rather than daily posting and community management. I'll build the strategic framework, content calendar, visual templates, and campaign plans — then either train your team to execute, recommend scheduling and management tools that make it manageable, or help you find a dedicated social media manager if the volume warrants it. Day-to-day social management requires someone with their finger on the pulse of your business in real time, and that role is better filled by someone embedded in your operations than by an outside consultant.
Which social media platforms should my business be on?
That depends entirely on where your audience actually spends their time and what kind of content makes sense for your business. A B2B professional services firm probably belongs on LinkedIn and maybe X, but probably not TikTok. A consumer product brand might thrive on Instagram and TikTok but get nothing from LinkedIn. Not every business needs to be on every platform — in fact, spreading yourself thin across five platforms is worse than being excellent on two. I'll help you identify the channels that matter for your specific audience and goals, and more importantly, give you permission to skip the ones that don't.
Can you create the graphics and content for social posts?
Yes. I can design social media templates that match your brand identity — giving your team a consistent visual framework they can populate with new content — as well as create campaign-specific graphics, carousel designs, story templates, cover images, and visual content for specific promotions or launches. If you need ongoing content creation (writing captions, producing videos, creating graphics weekly), I can handle a defined scope or set you up with templates and a content framework that makes in-house production consistent and efficient.
How do you measure social media success?
By tying it to business outcomes — website traffic from social channels, leads generated, inquiries received, sales attributed, email sign-ups — not just likes, followers, and engagement rate. Engagement metrics matter as indicators of content quality, but they're not the end goal. A post with 2 likes that drives 5 qualified leads to your website is more valuable than a post with 500 likes that generates nothing. I set up tracking so you can see which social activity actually connects to revenue, and we optimize toward the metrics that move your business forward rather than the ones that look good in a screenshot.
I don't have a social media presence yet. Can you help me start?
Yes. Starting from scratch is actually easier than fixing a neglected or inconsistent presence because there's no baggage to work around. I'll help you set up profiles with consistent branding and optimized bios, define your content strategy and brand voice for social, establish content pillars (the core themes your content revolves around), create visual templates for posts, build a content calendar with your first month of topics mapped out, and develop a launch plan so you're not just showing up — you're showing up with a clear purpose and enough momentum to sustain it.
Do you run paid social media campaigns?
Yes. Paid social — particularly on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn — is often a key part of the strategy, especially for businesses with limited organic reach or specific targeting needs. I handle audience targeting, ad creative, budget allocation, A/B testing, and campaign optimization. Paid social is different from paid search (PPC) — it's better for awareness, retargeting, and reaching people based on demographics and interests rather than search intent. I'll recommend where paid social fits into your broader strategy and report on what's driving actual results versus what's just spending budget.
